I don’t read videogame reviews unless they’re by my friends. I certainly don’t check big sites like Eurogamer, ever. But sometimes, when I’m particularly happy or unhappy about spending some amount of money on a game, I’ll check Metacritic. There’ll always be one score that totally nails how I feel, quantitatively, and it’s always from Simon Parkin.

As far as bloggers go, I love most all of you. I feel that Gatmog/Andrew hardly ever gets any link love, because he writes fairly exhaustively about games that aren’t currently being heavily hyped by everyone else. Plus he’s sort of a mean bastard. So he gets the award for being both “unsung” and great at writing.

And the Gallaway thing? Well, I hate him.
